Hayden | Stafford, Virginia Portrait Session

I love mommy and daughter shoots. I don’t know what it is, but the connection between the mother and daughter is like no other. A few months ago I decided to stop doing just child portraits except for the rare occasion and started intergrating portraits sprinkled throughout a session focused on the relationship between two people.  This was around the time that Courtney called me and asked me to take pics of her beautiful little girl for her one year old birthday. I told her that I would love to take portraits so long as I can take pictures of them together because I just adore the connection between mother and daughter. So last week we got together for her one year shoot and I loved it. Courtney and Hayden are beautiful and I love the tender loving way Courtney holds her baby girl.

I am excited to deliver this whole album to Courtney, but here are some of my early faves from their session.
