Marlena sent me an inspiration board for her engagement session that had some of my past photographs and some photographs from my favorite photographer, Daniel Kim paired together. I was over the moon happy that she wanted imperfect photos. It was a little whisper of encouragement (as well as a sign of things to come), speaking directly to my creative heart. Truth be told, I needed that encouragement at the near end of a very busy year. I have so much to say about this year, 2022, and the things that will be changing, but I can’t share just yet. As for now, I’m simply thankful for the signs that tell me I’m going in the right direction and for the clients who are the vessels of those signs.
