When I first met with Amanda over a year and a half ago, I didn’t even realize at the time how much I would adore her and Jarrett. Amanda had such a sweet personality and I loved her laid back demeanor, but the biggest thing that I noticed was just her overwhelming excitement to be marrying Jarrett, her high school sweet heart and the love of her life. Jarrett’s mom was at the meeting too and there was nothing but joy and smiles that day in the coffee shop as we talked about Amanda’s dream for her big day. I remember coming home to my hubby and telling him what a fun meeting I had with Amanda and Jackie that day and how I think Amanda is just going to be the sweetest bride on the planet. And I was right! Since Amanda and Jarrett were both getting ready to graduate from the University of Delaware they wanted to wait until after they settled into the real world to get married. This gave me a ton of time to get to know them as a couple. Which was great for me! It was incredibly sweet to watch their playful and fun relationship -one where they put each other first and lift each other up- unfold before my lens and in my interactions with them. You will see that in the pictures of their wedding day. Between the joyous first look, the teary-eyed vows, and the cake cutting that I am officially calling the “Cake Smash,” you will get to see why they have so many fun and joyous years ahead of them. I hope you enjoy some of my fave of their wedding pics at Sunnybrae Mansion. It was the most perfect venue for the backyard wedding with the most fun yard games you have ever seen.
Amanda and Jarrett, I wish you a lifetime of laughs, smiles, and tears of happiness. Thank you for choosing me to capture these memories for you.
Amanda snuck away for a few minutes before putting on her dress. It was a sweet time. My fave ring shot.I’m not going to tell you how much she paid for this beautiful Maggie Sottero wedding gown or you will be jealous. First look time! She was so excited when he first turned around. So sweet! I loved her colors!
Some people think that the first look takes away from the emotion of the ceremony. I’m here to tell you, it doesn’t! Jarrett was so cute trying to not be emotional through his vowels. I loved all the details and yard games. Sunnybrae Mansion was the perfect place to have this wedding.LOVE!So beautiful, Amanda! I love that she is wearing pearls Jarrett gave her on their first anniversary. In high school!!!
