When Arianne first brought John over to our house to meet him, Steve and I knew then that this guy was pretty special. Not only was he the first boyfriend we had ever met of Arianne’s, but after spending the evening with them, getting to know a little about him, and seeing his easy-going personality, we were pretty certain he was a perfect match for Arianne. After that, a few months passed and I hadn’t heard from Arianne so I was a little concerned something happened. I texted her to make sure everything was okay with them and I was relieved to hear that it was just crazy travel schedules. I just had a good feeling about John and wanted to hear THE news. The next time I heard from Arianne it was a text picture of her hand sporting a new diamond ring. I was elated! I can’t tell you the number of years I had hoped that this would happen. Arianne is one special woman in my life and I knew she would one day find her prince charming, but John just fits her perfectly. I am sure you will be able to tell by these pictures, but Arianne’s smile just lights up a room. She is a ball of positivity in dealing with all of the challenges she has had to face. And, on top of that, she has pursued and accomplished such huge dreams. She is one of the few people I know who truly embraces life and literally Carpe Diems each day. John is a hard-worker and a great dad to his son. He is an adventurer like her, but he is also the laid back side to her go-go-go. His smile and attitude match hers – positive and bright. They are truly a match made in heaven.
When Arianne first asked me to photograph the wedding she gave me the option to come as a guest or asked me if I wanted to photograph her day. Of course I told her I wanted to be with her all day long as it would be a huge honor to photograph the very precious moments of the day. And it was! I cried and laughed and just beamed as I saw her big beautiful smile lighting up the day. She was the most laid back bride and nothing took that smile away. Not even a rain delay! She was focused on becoming a Mrs. to her prince charming and their whole day was beautiful.
Arianne and John, thank you so much for having me as a part of your special day. I am not surprised that God matched you two. He knows that you two will move mountains. I can’t wait to see all that you Carpe Diem as a beautiful husband and wife team. Much love to both of you!
