I figured since it is about to be August I would take advantage of this hot weather by posting a beach family session I did last year on the blog. I love me some summer beach days, but also August and September were my most popular months for beach sessions last year soooo why not share some sneaks peaks from a fave session with a few reasons why I love shooting on the beach, eh?
Reason #1- Because the natural colors and elements are swoon-worthy! I love playing with the colors of the sky at sunset, the neutral tones of the beach and of course the beautiful lines the ocean creates down the shore.
Reason #2- Something about the pictures taken on the beach scream romantic, care-free, classic, and thought-provoking. Is that just me? I don’t think so. I love how everyone just seems to be super comfortable and themselves on the beach. It produces great pictures and allows me to capture the true soul.
Reason #3- Let them be little! Your children’s natural and totally amazing personality will come out around the ocean. I never have to work hard to get them to show their true colors. The ocean and that scene just allows them to be who they are. And I love that!
