The beginning of this summer flew by for my business with seven back to back weddings starting at the end of May. It has been nice to spend July catching up on some blogging and other parts of my business before it gets super busy again in August. I also have more time to start a new part of my business – Mentor Sessions! I have been super stoked to start these sessions and after this past weekend’s Mentor Session I just fell in love with it. It is extremely rewarding to sit with other photographers, hear a piece of their heart, and discover what they want with life, love, and their business. I knew Erin from Thirty Three Loves Photography from photographing her family at my annual Nathan Chris Baker Foundation fundraiser, but I never really have time to get to know someone in a 20 minute mini-session. This past weekend I was able to sit and hear her heart. She has a huge love for her family, teaching, and photography and our session was all about balance and how she can make it all work. I’m so excited to see where her business goes in the next few year.
