One of my very favorite sessions to shoot are “couple” sessions…and that doesn’t just mean engagements and weddings!  I love photographing the love of couples in any point of their marriage. In fact, that is what inspired “Love Multiplied” – our belief that love multiplies countless times throughout a marriage. Whether you are engaged, about to have a baby, newly married, or married for twenty years, to me, your story is uniquely special, valuable, and worth telling.   I’ve always been excited about marriage, but over the past few years my passion for the institution of marriage has gotten even stronger and has really shown through at my sessions. The lessons Steve and I have learned, the failures we have overcome, and the joys we have celebrated are our perfectly unique and very special story. I look forward to telling this story to our kids and then their kids with the tangible pictures of us together to show them!  It was around this time last year when I realized I really wanted to pay extra attention to “mom and dad” at a shoot because it is so super important to nurture that relationship – especially when kids are involved.  For a lot of couples they don’t have professional pictures except at their wedding. Now, it is a must for all my family shoots to get husband and wife shots. So I thought it would be perfect to start talking about anniversary shoots and how important they are. This year I really want to focus more on these shoots.  It’s time to start celebrating marriage in every walk of life. I can’t think of a better gift to each other than a date night that involves getting dressed up and connecting. Then, on top of that, priceless pictures to hold on to forever! What do you think?

This would be incredibly special for me and my boyfriend. We have been together for one year. Our love story started after some tragic events. He lost his wife of 16 years to cancer in 2012 and I got divorced after 10 years. We met each other and instantly fell in love. What we both thought was a lonely road ahead of us turned out to be a beautiful adventure. I would love to capture the love and energy that is shared between us. You never know what blessing you may receive.

  29. Ashley says:

  30. Clarissa & Ryan Havelow says:

    This is amazing! What a thoughtful sentiment. My husband and I just celebrated our 12 year “together anniversary” and 3 year wedding anniversary on July 30. I would have normally done something special to celebrate, but we are living with {wonderful} family while we wait to move our family of 3 to our next home. While living with family is challenging, it has certainly forced us to learn so much about eachother that we thought we already knew. While working two jobs it tough, watching my husband work 12hr days only to come home for another 3hrs studying and writing papers– is tougher. He misses our us time. Sharing one room with someone you love very much– well, it’s not easy. I hope that you’ll consider us for your anniversary gift session. While it would be late– I think my husband would be thrilled to have a moment dedicated to us in these past 8 months of sharing everything in our lives…:}

  31. Heather & Jimmy Taylor says:

    Awesome giveaway! Married 3 years!

  34. Wendy Yonce says:

We’ll celebrate 7 years of pure heaven in April!!

  35. Michelle Burgess says:

This November, my husband Jon and I will have been married for 5 years. We have been through a lot in that short time, the worst is the passing of my 8 year old son Ethan to an inoperable brain tumor. Jon and I met in September of 2007 and had started shopping for engagement rings shortly before Ethan was diagnosed on 12/03/08. His diagnosis was devastating, Diffuse Pontine Glioma, a brain tumor that was 100% fatal and would mean we would have maybe 9-12 months left with my beautiful son. We spent the next year living life to the fullest and in November of 2009, as Ethan’s condition worsened, Jon and I decided on a Thursday to get married that Monday. Our last minute wedding meant nothing fancy, no pictures, flowers, music, just us with our family but most important Ethan was a part of our ceremony and was our Best Man. Ethan passed away 2 1/2 months later on 01/28/10. The years that followed were tough on our marriage. I can’t begin to tell you how crippling the loss of a child is on a mother. It tore us apart. But Jon and I have worked really hard and have repaired our relationship. Every day is a struggle without Ethan here but I do my best to Honor his memory and live life to the fullest. Having an anniversary photo shoot would mean so much to me. Jon and I don’t have real wedding photos or any professional pictures of the two of us. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post.

  36. Michelle says:

  37. Laura says:

We are newlyweds! Justin and I started dating May 17, 2009 and were married on May 17, 2014. Together for 5 years, married for 3 months! :)

  38. April says:

Husband and I will be married 2 years September 2nd!

  39. Cyndi says:

  40. Michaelina says:

My high school sweetheart and I have been together 8 years Dec 28 & Married 2 years Dec 15 <3

  41. Amber Kopp says:

We’ve been married for 14 blessed years. Thanks for offering such a great contest.

  42. Susan Rose says:

My husband & I will be married 18 years on October 5th. I would be thrilled to show our 3 boys (12, 8 & 6) how far their dad & I have come after being married so young when no one thought it would last. There have been many ups & downs, but we are so much stronger and supportive of each other now. I can’t wait to grow old with him.
