Ever since I began working as a Philadelphia engagement photographer, Longwood Gardens has been a go-to location. I’ve photographed dozens of couples there and love it every time! The gardens look completely different from season to season and leave me feeling freshly inspired no matter the number of times I’ve been before. For Kirsten and Seamus’ session, we arrived during the peak summer season. I absolutely loved photographing them in a variety of candid poses, capitalizing on their natural chemistry. Kirsten’s bright red dress was the perfect choice for the shoot! It stood out from the deep, rich greens of the gardens and provided the perfect pop to these images. The tones were absolutely stunning on film and digital. I couldn’t help but shoot both!
To shoot a variety of imagery, we explored almost every inch of the grounds and the European vibes we captured left me breathless. We started by the Italian Water Gardens and slowly made our way to the Conservatory, also stopping by the Peirce-du Pont House. We wrapped up their Longwood Gardens engagement shoot in The Grotto. I can’t wait until I’m back amongst the lush plants of Longwood Gardens.
