My Man.
Here he is after our family photo shoot last weekend with our baby. I had just lifted my camera up at the end of our session to quickly try to capture their looks of pure exhaustion so its out of focus. But nonetheless, I totally adore it, even in it’s imperfection.
<deep contented sigh>
My Man. Just nonchalantly doing his part to win the Husband of the Year award last weekend. For the record, he pretty much destroyed that award at Christmastime this past year with his awesome gift-giving skills. But he has always been an over-achiever and I don’t mind one bit. How did I get so lucky? But here he goes again being an amazing husband at family pictures. For starters, let me tell you how he actually ENJOYED taking pictures. As a photographer, I can’t tell you how important this is. To have a husband with a positive attitude excited about the experience of taking pictures, but even more so, equally excited about seeing the images that we can display on our wall. I’m totally winning the “Married Up” award!
ANYwho, I digress.
Then, when our kids were soooo done with taking pictures (noted by Kellan’s tired gaze in the picture above), My Man rallied them, and then fed, bathed, and put them to bed all while keeping them happy. Dads are good like that. Where was I, you ask? Talking business and branding with our talented photographer,
Tiffany, while eating delicious cheese and drinking cold crisp Chardonnay. I owe him. Big time. Dang it!!! ;-)
My Man, doing awesomely terrific husband things since 2006.
Where would I be, people? No. Where!!!! He is literally my better half.
Here is a sneak peek from our shoot with the amazing Tiffany Farley! If you haven’t checked her out, you must go now. More posts to come on our session and why it is soooo important to invest in photography :-)
