As a Philadelphia wedding photographer, from the moment I first pulled up to Lauxmont Farms, I was in photography heaven! The land was just breathtaking in any direction I turned. I could seriously shoot there all. day. long! But then, I went into meet Marissa and I saw all the details she and Paul had worked so hard to coordinate over the past few months and I just about had to pinch myself. Everything she had shared with me about her vision for her day had come true- tenfold. The flowers, the cake, the beautifully designed rustic stacks of crates, were all perfect! But it wasn’t the venue or the details that made my heart so full that day. The love these two share is deeply rooted in their relationship with Christ, and it made for the most amazing last Sunday
Marissa and Paul opted not to do a first look, but they had a precious intimate moment together right before the ceremony. They met each other on opposite sides of a door – hands clasped – and praised God for His beautiful grace. It was a sweet and emotional moment and I am sure they will forever cherish that time. Then it was time for Marissa to walk down the aisle, and while everyone was locked on how stunning and radiant she was (me included), I also couldn’t get enough photographs of Paul. If you saw him too, then you know what I mean. You could feel the joy in his heart by the expression he wore on his face. My heart totally skipped a beat photographing those moments. :-)
This was one of the most Christ-centered wedding day’s I have ever participated in and I just loved every second of it. Thank you, Paul and Marissa for including me in your beautiful day. It was truly a blessing!
