Things are going to get crazy with Spring approaching and I’m about to go into my busiest wedding season yet. It feels good to have finally settled with my Love Multiplied brand and really focus in on couples/marriages. I can’t believe that I get to live out my passion for marriage and photography all in the same job! Everything seems to be working out even better than I could have imagined almost five years ago when I started this business and this year I’m absolutely pumped to start building more into my business for my beautiful couples.
Around the end of last year I was dreaming of 2015, and thinking of ways I could create more community for my clients; especially my brides and grooms. Marriage is a HUGE passion of mine and I know it can be especially hard the first couple of years, so I wanted to be able to give more to my couples than just pretty pictures. It was around this time that one of my good friends and owner of CrossFit Dover and CrossFit 1806, George Dobbins, approached me about a little collaboration. We didn’t know what direction we wanted to go, but we knew we wanted it to be about community and about married couples.
If you guys are reading this and go to CrossFit Dover or CrossFit 1806, then you know what I am talking about when I say that George is passionate about community. He loves his people as much as I love my clients and I have always respected the way he runs his business for that reason. I know people are probably thinking, “but what does Fine Art Wedding Photography have to do with CrossFit?” Well, aside from the obvious – I mean, everyone wants to look and feel good in front of the camera on their wedding day, right? -that is not all what this is about…. We wanted to create a program to bring more people together. This is really bigger than working out and getting lovely pictures on your wedding day. This is about serving our community, bringing people together to work as a team, and helping a couple start things off on the right foot.
Okay, I know I am super chatty! And you are probably wanting me to get to the point right about now…So are you ready for it?
Where is the drumroll when you need it?
