Before you get started, I'd like to say one last thing. I've been photographing weddings for over 14 years and it's not lost on me how lucky I am to have this career. I consider photography to be one of my greatest joys, and that is largely in part because of my passion for meeting new couples like you who are just starting their marriage journey together. Marriage, and love, for that matter, is an epic adventure and one in which I am wildly passionate about. If at the end of the day, my job was just that I get to witness beautiful weddings, I think I would be happy, but instead, I get to create art inspired by your love. And that is just wildly awesome to me! All the feelings and emotions you experience on your wedding day can be captured in time and even just one photograph can become a cherished heirloom for generations to come. While all the pomp and circumstance is a whole lot of fun to photograph, it's really about your love story and your loved ones celebrating with you that create the story. It's your love, after all, that got everyone there. It should go without saying as a wedding photographer, your wedding is my favorite day. You and your fiancé have spent months planning your day and there are a lot of moving parts. My goal is that before we even get to your day, we have set up a great photography schedule, and that on your wedding day our relationship feels like old friends.
Your whole days is about you and your families coming together to celebrate the most epic love story celebration + union. Our team is made up of people who wear our hearts on our sleeves and that, combined with our passion for light, love, and location serve as a foundation for how we document a wedding day. We let the emotions guide and inspire us, and then work with the best & most flattering light at your venue while giving clear and precise direction to you & your loved ones when needed. I find that this allows you to be in the moment and completely comfortable on the other side of my lens. The raw, real, dewy-eyed moments always happen naturally and of course, are our favorite. But rest assured, our team won’t leave you wondering, “what are we supposed to do here?” We always give clear direction when needed, and sit back and watch through our lens when needed. Plain and simple, we are here for all the moments, passing or posed, and love to photograph both.
