I recently read a blog post from one of my fave wedding photographers/bloggers about posting less than 20 pictures on your sneak peek blog post for weddings and engagement sessions, so I recently decided to start trying to do that. But, then I edited Holly and Kevin’s engagement session and threw that rule right out the windows one last time. They are just too cute to not include some more of my faves! And I loved all the pops of color in their outfit choices and the specialness of the venue locations. The extra pictures will just have to do at least one more time for this one.
I first met Holly and Kevin at Cantwell’s Tavern in Odessa when I was just 15 weeks pregnant. I knew as soon as Holly walked in with that beautiful and warm smile that this couple was going to be awesome. And they did not disappoint! The conversation was easy and I just couldn’t stop smiling as they retold their proposal story of how Kevin proposed on the Canal. I had to leave their meeting earlier than I wanted to because I honestly I could have kept chatting into the night. These are the reasons why I love my job so much! I just can’t wait for their wedding day :-)
Holly and Kevin decided to do half of their engagement session right where he proposed and I am so glad they did. What an awesome memory these will make! We started at Holly’s Nan’s house in their gardens and then moved on the canal as the sun was beginning to set. It was oh so beautiful with the perfect amount of breeze that was totally working with Holly’s awesome hair! I hope you enjoy some of my early faves from their session.
