Darling,
Had we known it was God’s design
That I’d be yours and you’d be mine
I don’t think we’d believe it true
Such love could be in me and you
If we’d known just what to pray for
When we asked two to be one more
We’d never dream that He could mold
Our precious girl with heart of gold
And if we’d known the heights of joy
When God gave us our baby boy
We’d still wonder how it can be
Love multiplied in our family
If we could see inside His book
We’d turn the page and take a look
Then rush to tell family and friends
This isn’t where the story ends
We’d praise how God has loved us so
Beyond anything we can know
How great His gracious love does pour
That He would bless us with one more!
